Eletta L. Cameron, LCSW, ACSW

Eletta Cameron is a native of Uniontown, PA. and a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work Direct Practice respectively.  Eletta also holds a Lean Healthcare Certificate from Belmont State University’s Massey Graduate School of Business.  She is the Sole Proprietor of Cameron’s Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC.  Eletta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and experienced clinician focusing her practice on depression and anxiety as well as family and martial conflict. She is committed to helping guide individuals, families, couples and organizations toward achieving their optimal mental health and wellness goals no matter the setting.

Eletta has an affinity for connecting to and working with people.  She has been privileged to be a guest lecturer at several local universities and has worked as an adjunct instructor for two local universities.  Most recently she was a guest facilitator at California University of PA’s Trio Upward Bound Program where she presented two workshops:  Inspiring the Love of Learning and Improving Program Capacity through the Practice of Self-Care.   Additionally, she was a guest presenter at a local church discussing Mental Health and Wellness in the church entitled:  Soul Care in the Church.   Most recently Mrs. Cameron conducted an extensive training with the Wilkinsburg Police Department entitled:  Full Armor:  Your Right to be Protected and Receive Services.  This training focused on the Mental Health awareness of Law Enforcement Officers.  Additionally, she served as the Keynote Speaker at Carlow University for their series on Trauma Informed Teaching: Mindfulness and Meditation in Education and was also a guest speaker for the Blessed Be Educators organization addressing Bullying and Mental Health.

Mrs. Cameron is an entrepreneur and educator.  She teaches and facilitates in various venues on the topic of Mental Health and Wellness.  She has been a returning guest speaker for the Black Male Leadership Development Institute (BMLDI) at Robert Morris University, highlighted on Urban Radio Network during Mental Health Awareness Month, appeared on a segment of WPXI Talk Pittsburgh as a co-representative for the Western PA Diaper Bank, and quoted in The New Pittsburgh Courier.  She has furthered her consultation practice to the AskMe.HearMe Project through the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work and is a regular speaker for the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Nursing Program of the topic of Motivational Interviewing.

Eletta thoroughly enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters fishing.  In her spare time, she is an ardent writer, an avid reader, practicing yogi and a skillful and inspirational educator and orator.  Eletta is a captivating orator, emotive and effective therapist, as well as an enthusiastic educator and thorough trainer.
